Short South Africa tours Safari in the Eastern Cape

Fancy a great safari without flying all the way up to Kruger? Then you may want to take a closer look at our Eastern Cape safari adventure. It begins with a drive through the dusty trails of Addo National Park, keeping a close eye on bushes and waterholes for huge herds of elephants and grazing giraffes. Then, you'll board a small riverboat for a unique transfer to our private game reserve, where a professional ranger will take you on thrilling game drives to spot the Big Five. Short South Africa trip Route 62 - Elephants, Ostriches and Wine

Duration: 6 days, 5 nights
Price: £227 per person - based on 2 people sharing
You'll see: Addo Elephant National Park, Oudtshoorn and Stellenbosch

Route 62 is another one of South Africa's most famous highways, and wonderful for that epic road trip feeling. This highway starts in Port Elizabeth and ends in Montagu and is a quirky alternative to the Garden Route self drive tours. This module begins in Addo, a town near Port Elizabeth and only a short drive away from Addo Elephant National Park. Then, you'll find that the road becomes a little more rugged as you get closer to ostrich city, Oudtshoorn, on the edge of the Karoo desert. The trip ends in Stellenbosch, in the heart of the Cape Winelands. Here, you can enjoy a glass (or more) of wonderful South African wine. If you like, you can also do the trip in reverse, beginning in Stellenbosch and heading for Port Elizabeth.

Duration: 5 days, 4 nights

You'll see: Knysna, Oudtshoorn and Swellendam

The Garden Route is one of THE all time great road trips, and there's so much to see along the way. The trail can be done in just 5 days, as described in this module. However, if you have a little extra time, we recommend taking a little longer. Go whale watching in Hermanus and Plett, explore the Cango caves, and trek the rugged Tsitsikamma National Park. Whatever you choose to do, you'll be surrounded space and stunning scenery. We can be as flexible with this trip - just talk to our travel specialist to build your own Garden Route Adventure!

Short South Africa trip Cape and Wine, Drive-n-Dine

Duration: 4 days, 3 nights

You'll see: Stellenbosch and Tulbagh

During this module, you'll travel by rental car through the breathtaking South African winelands, only an hour or so beyond Cape Town. You'll spend time in the charming villages of Tulbagh and Stellenbosch, visiting wine estates and toasting great South African wine with the local producers. Enjoy the wine... but remember to take a cab home afterwards(!) This short module combines well with Cape Town. Naturally this module can also be offered in reverse sequence.
