This itinerary is similar to the Go South Africa itinerary; however it features several interesting additions. Just like Go South Africa, it also allows you to visit the Blyde River Canyon, but this time you'll stay in a genuine bush camp in a Private Greater Kruger Game Reserve lodge, for a real walk on the wild side. You'll also visit Hluhluwe and the lively traveller town of St Lucia, with its vast swamp land, which is home to hippos and rhinos. Afterwards, you can relax at the beach near Durban before flying down to Port Elizabeth, where you'll begin your epic Garden Route adventure.  

At Plettenberg bay you'll be able to go hiking and kayaking and in Oudtshoorn you'll sleep amidst ostrich farms before travelling on to Cape Town and its famous Table Mountain and wine territories. Only two weeks available to visit South Africa? If you remain on the Eastern side of South Africa you'll be able to have a fun and adventurous trip in only two weeks. This itinerary is quite comprehensive: spend the night in rondavels at a genuine bush lodge at Kruger park, enjoy a "braai" (bar-b-que) prepared on campfire at the cooking rondavel and then go on to enjoy spectacular game drives in search of large game. Later you'll go on to visit the vast natural reserve at Mlilwane in Swaziland, where you'll be able explore the wilderness on horseback or on foot (just be careful for the crocodiles).

In Hluhluwe you'll sleep in a romantic bush chalet. Then you'll go on to the beaches of Durban / Umhlanga for some rest and relaxation and on to Drakensbergen for a trek. From here you'll travel through the Golden Gate National Park back to Johannesburg, which is quite a unique travel experience. This South Africa itinerary combines a trip from Johannesburg to Cape Town with a trip to the former homeland Transkei, the Wild Coast. The itinerary offers an incredible opportunity to see South Africa's true colours. You'll see flowing hills with thatched-roof huts scattered about on them, grazing herds of goats, dusty black pigs walking along side the road and, despite the obvious poverty, you'll see people smiling and happy to stop for a chat and to tell you about their country. The coastline in this area is especially beautiful; there are pristine white beaches (perfect for surfing) with subtropical trees and plants as far as the eyes reach.
