Each itinerary offers a truly unique and rewarding South Africa experience. Whenever possible, we select attractive and centrally located accommodation that reflects the character of the area. Route: Jo'burg/Pretoria - Hazyview - Blyde River - Kruger Park - Swaziland (Mlilwane) - Hluhluwe - St Lucia, Durban/Umhlanga - Addo - Knysna - Oudtshoorn - Swellendam - Hermanus - Cape Town
All of South Africa's most interesting attractions are included in this comprehensive itinerary. Using your own rental car you'll drive past Blyde River Canyon, on to spectacular sights of large wild animals at Kruger and then on to the markets of Swaziland. Your next stop will be at the vast wildlife reserve at Hluhluwe, where you can explore the wilderness either on horseback or on foot in search of zebras or giraffes. If weather permits, you can then enjoy a relaxing day at Durban beach (Umhlanga), before flying on to Port Elizabeth the next day. At Plettenberg bay you'll be able to go whale and dolphin spotting or go hiking into the lush green world surrounding you. Continue your journey along the rugged south coast, along the Garden Route and past the arid landscape of Oudtshoorn with its' ostriches and caves on to the wineries and wine country in the Cape Town area. During this itinerary you'll spend the night in several authentic African accommodation: rondavels, beehive huts, bush chalets and on ostrich farms. Route: Pretoria, Hazyview, Blyde River, Timbavati Bush Camp, Kruger Park, Swaziland (Mlilwane), Hluhluwe, St Lucia, Durban/Umhlanga, Port Elizabeth, Knysna, Oudtshoorn, Swellendam, Hermanus, Cape Town This itinerary is similar to the Go South Africa itinerary; however it features several interesting additions. Just like Go South Africa, it also allows you to visit the Blyde River Canyon, but this time you'll stay in a genuine bush camp in a Private Greater Kruger Game Reserve lodge, for a real walk on the wild side. You'll also visit Hluhluwe and the lively traveller town of St Lucia, with its vast swamp land, which is home to hippos and rhinos. Afterwards, you can relax at the beach near Durban before flying down to Port Elizabeth, where you'll begin your epic Garden Route adventure. |

If you remain on the Eastern side of South Africa you'll be able to have a fun and adventurous trip in only two weeks. This itinerary is quite comprehensive: spend the night in rondavels at a genuine bush lodge at Kruger park, enjoy a "braai" (bar-b-que) prepared on campfire at the cooking rondavel and then go on to enjoy spectacular game drives in search of large game. Later you'll go on to visit the vast natural reserve at Mlilwane in Swaziland, where you'll be able explore the wilderness on horseback or on foot (just be careful for the crocodiles). |

Route: Pretoria, Tzaneen, Kruger, Swaziland, Hluhluwe, St Lucia, Durban, Transkei, Knysna, Oudtshoorn, Swellendam, Cape Town
This itinerary will appeal to even the most experienced South Africa travellers! Become acquainted with a large number of cultures, visit the most far away villages in places most people have never seen and walk / drive where large wild animals roam the land. This itinerary crosses through the territory of the Phedi's and the Ndebele's. The immense wilderness at Kruger and the treks through Swaziland and St Lucia parks are all included in this itinerary. After relaxing on the Durban/Umhlanga beaches, trek straight through the little travelled Transkei and get to know the Xhosa people. At Plettenberg bay you'll be able to go on a boat cruise in search of whales and dolphins or go on hikes through Tsitsikamma park. Then head off along the Garden Route where you can take a also visit the Karoo and the city of Oudtshoorn with its ostriches and caves. Feel like treating yourself to a slightly more comfortable and luxurious holiday? This itinerary combines typical "African Style" luxury with exclusive game drives and incredible South African nature. This trip is also a great option for honeymooners! Spend the night in a luxurious Pretoria guest house and in a comfortable tented lodge in a private reserve with so many wild animals, you could almost trip over them. Experience the Blyde River Canyon while staying at a country hotel located amidst flowing fields. After Kruger travel on to Mlilwane in Swaziland. At Hluhluwe you'll spend the night in a romantic safari lodge and after a visit to the subtropical beaches of Durban, you'll fly on to Port Elizabeth. At Plettenberg bay, go whale and dolphin spotting by boat or go hiking through the green lush environment surrounding you. Continue your journey along the rugged south coast and visit Oudtshoorn with its ostriches and caves before travelling on to Cape Town.
