As with all of our South Africa holidays, we offer the ability to customize your camping itinerary and you can shorten or extend your trip or add on an extra day at one of the locations.

This short camping itinerary combines visits to some of the most beautiful locations to travel in Southern Africa and Mozambique. You'll spend the night on your 4X4 roof tent at campsites in Kruger Park and near the beaches of Mozambique.

First, you'll trek through Kruger Park in search of the big five. You can also visit Mlilwane where you'll have a very good chance of seeing swimming hippos and crocodiles.

After travelling Southern Africa, you'll drive into the breathtaking sunset of the beaches at Ponto d'Ouro in Mozambique. The diving conditions are excellent and, if you like, you can swim with dolphins. You'll end your trip with a visit to Mkuze and St. Lucia. Your camping accommodation will be pre-arranged for you; you'll sleep in a roof tent on the top of your 4X4.

If you would like to travel to all of Southern Africa's finest safari parks independently, then this is the itinerary for you. This 17 day 4X4 itinerary will take through 3 countries, across 3500-4000 km in two and half weeks.

Your trip will begin in South Africa and quite quickly afterwards you'll cross the border into Botswana. The first stop is at the salt plains. The salt plains cover an area of approximately 37,000 km2. This area is great for taking pictures. Then it's time for the world famous Victoria Falls, which you can visit from your base in Livingstone, Zambia. Looking for an amazing experience? Then go on a flight above the waterfalls.

This Southern Africa travel plan continues towards Chobe and Moremi, two of the most famous national parks in Botswana, and you'll also pass the Okavango Delta. You will then return to Johannesburg by way of the Marakele National Park.

Your Southern Africa holiday will start off in the world famous Kruger Park where you'll head off in search off the Big 5. Afterwards it's time to travel to Mozambique where you'll visit Inhambane and then Vilanculos (Bazaruto archipelago).

This trip is a more comprehensive trip based on the 17-day itinerary, for those who have more time to spend on their South Africa holiday. A rugged vehicle fully equipped with all the necessary camping equipment and roof tents will take you straight through three countries in Southern Africa.

This trip starts off with a visit to Kruger Park. Then you'll go on to cross the border with Botswana and you'll enter an entirely different landscape. The roads here truly offer a 4X4 challenge and the views from your window are amazing. Afterwards you'll drive towards Livingstone in Zambia to explore the famous Victoria Falls. By way of the national parks Chobe and Moremi you'll drive towards the Okavango Delta. Finally you'll drive through the Marakele National Park back to Johannesburg- you are sure to have experienced many highlights by the end of your travel through Southern Africa.

You'll start off your Southern Africa travel in Kruger Park where you'll sleep under a starry sky and you could possibly even hear lions roaring in the distance. You'll also pass Swaziland, spend the night in the Mkuze Game Reserve and you'll go on beautiful walks through the Drakensberg.

Travelling over the spectacular Sani Pass and you'll visit the elevated kingdom of Lesotho. You'll also travel through the Karoo, visit the ostrich town of Oudtshoorn and venture along the famous Garden Route.
