All of South Africa’s top attractions are included in this comprehensive itinerary. Using your own rental car you’ll drive past Blyde River Canyon, on to spectacular sights at Kruger National Park and then on to the markets of Swaziland. Your next stop will be the wildlife reserve at Hluhluwe, before a relaxing day at Umhlanga beach, before flying on to Port Elizabeth the next day. From Knysna you can go whale and dolphin spotting or hiking into lush Tsitsikamma National Park.

Then, you’ll continue your journey along the world famous Garden Route to Oudtshoorn with its ostrich farms and the Cango caves. Finally, you’ll spend some time in the beautiful Cape Winelands before making your way to stunning Cape Town. First, you’ll visit the Blyde River Canyon before staying in a genuine bush camp in a Private Greater Kruger Game Reserve lodge for a real walk on the wild side. Afterwards, you can relax at the beach near Durban before flying down to Port Elizabeth, where you’ll begin your Garden Route adventure. This two week itinerary will take you an alternative route through South Africa. Sticking to the Eastern side of South Africa, you’ll find adventure, culture, fun and relaxation in only two weeks. You’ll spend the night in rustic rondavels at a genuine bush lodge in the Greater Kruger National Park, enjoy a homecooked braai prepared on campfire and take spectacular game drives in search of the Big Five. Later, you’ll visit the Mlilwane National Park in Swaziland, where you’ll explore the wilderness on horseback or on foot (being careful to watch for the crocodiles!). Then, you’ll continue to the beaches near Durban for some rest and relaxation before trekking through the stunning Drakensberg Mountains.
